(a) Who are his department’s partners in the Tourism Learnership Programme, (b) what are the objectives of the programme and (c) what steps has his department taken to promote sustainable livelihood through tourism in (i) urban and (ii) rural arrears?

(i) Whether the department hosted any (a) Imbizo, (b) seminar/conference (c) function at anytime from 01 January 2006 up to the latest date for which information is available; if so (i)on what date (ii) what was the total amount spent on each (iii) what is the breakdown of the cost for each, (iv) how many guests attended each?

(ii) Whether there were any related costs for the travel and accommodation of guests for each (a) imbizo,(b) seminar/conference (c) functions at anytime from 01 January 2006 up to the latest date for which information is available; if so (d) what were the costs and what was the breakdown of these costs?

(iii) Whether any member of the cabinet were present at any of these events; if so (a) who, (b)in what capacity and (c) what were the reason for each of their attendance?

(i) Whether with reference to the proposed oil refinery to be constructed Coega Industrial Development Zone in Nelson Mandela Bay, a full Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) will be required before a decision is made to proceed with the development; if not why not?

(ii) Whether a memorandum of understanding with Government and Coega Development Corporation and PetroSA of 06 October 2009 is underpinned by a requirement for full EIA; if not what is the position in this regard; if so what are the relevant details?

(iii) Whether a cabinet decision has already been made to (a) proceed with this development and (b) fast track the EIA in order to start operating in 2014; if not what is the position in this regard; if so what are the relevant details?

(iv) Whether the Minister of Environmental Affairs will commission an EIA; if not why not, if so; when?

Whether the department will implement any programmes that will inform people in rural areas who rely on traditional farming methods about (a) the effects of climate change and (b) how they cab adapt to it; if not, why not, if so what programmes?

(i) Whether any position of director with Marine and Coastal Management (MCM) have been filled without the post being advertised since 01 January 2009; if not what is the position in this regard; if so why were these post not advertised?

(ii) Whether any position for new directors have been filled without being advertised ; if so what posts and what is the name of the person appointed to the posts in each case?

(iii) Whether any grievances have been directed to the Deputy Director General of MCM for the manner in which these posts were filled ; if so what are the relevant details?

(iv) What are the names and designations of all the persons who were on the selection panels for these posts?

(i) At what price was the Highveld Park nature reserve purchased in what year and what amount has been spent on the nature reserve?

(ii) Whether any personnel members have been appointed to the reserve, which post they were appointed and what remuneration is linked to each post?

(iii) Whether any game has been reserved?

(iv)Whether the minister will make a statement on the matter?
