DESCRIPTION & FOCUS AREA
STATUS	This joint Research and and Development project, co-funded by Julich GmbH (Germany) and NRF (South Africa) comes to an end at the end of this year, but plans are in place for an extension. In addition, firm plans do already exist for another, integrated longer-term cooperation programme (2004-2009) between the two countries. Awaiting delegation from the relevant German Ministry to visit South Africa for further deliberations.
