TAE stand for "Total Allowable Effort" and defines the amount of effort a fisherman/company can put into the capture of a particular species. TAC stand for "Total Allowable Catch " and defines the quantity of a particular species a fisherman/company can catch. TAE's and TAC's are available as Adobe Acrobat downloads.
