What is happening in South Africa?
The purpose of this section is to provide information on the activity taking place in South Africa at present to address climate change and ozone layer depletion- and their impacts - either by government or other parties (for example, business and industry, the research community and NGOs). Key topics are being addressed by several of these sectors working together, such as Vulnerability and Adaptation, the National Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory, Mitigation and the Clean Development Mechanism. Information is provided here (in the section on Activities) on each of these.
