+ 2 Sustainable Development Conference
In 2002 South Africa successfully hosted the World Summit on Sustainable Development,
enabling the world to negotiate a plan and set targets that would shift the
world onto a sustainable growth path.
Last year, South Africa commemorated the 1st anniversary of with a media campaign
and stakeholder roundtable discussion. This year, the 2nd anniversary will
be marked with a more substantial suite of high-level events. The events will
take place from 1- 4 September at the Sandton International Convention Centre,
Johannesburg.
