The information contained in the State of the Environment Report was disseminated using different media and formats. These included radio, television, newspapers, posters, etc. Some statistics are presented below:

• Overview report - 4000 English, 500 Afrikaans, 300 Xhosa copies distributed.
• 520 CD's distributed (250 initially at launch, rest on request)
• 30 Videos distributed (only on request)
• Poster (600 copies distributed)
• Newsletters 300/month for 10 months
• Key statistics from the report carried in 5 newspapers (12 articles in total)
• Key findings of national report discussed on three national radio stations (and four regional stations with regard to city reports)
• Internet hits vary between 2000-3000 hits per week.
