Linkages between the Political Dimension and other Sections

Many of the sections of this State of Environment Report are guided by various policy and political decisions. The importance of the political environment chapter is that it provides a conceptual framework of how policy works, and how various activities that have been outlined in other sections of the SoER are influenced by the political environment.
