Ekurhuleni state of the environment report

ekurhuleni.jpg - 7816 Bytes Ekurhuleni metropolitan municipality is supported by the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism and NORAD to complete an investigation into the state of the environment. One of the outcomes of this initiative is the state of the environment report presented below.



Ekurhuleni SoER overview 2004 State of Environment Report
The First Year State of the Environment Report for 2003/2004 was compiled to provide information to decision-makers to enable them to make informed decisions about the environment in Ekurhuleni. This document presents a summary of the above report, and functions to provide information on the condition of the existing environment in Ekurhuleni to the public, and to raise awareness of environmental issues. Therefore, both these documents will contribute to the progress toward the achievement of sustainable development.
