The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is calling on South Africans to participate in a rapid citizen science survey to source knowledge on the distribution of Nile tilapia in South African watercourses. Please complete the online submission form to provide us with details of your Nile tilapia catches by 30 September 2017.

On 21 July 2017, Minister Edna Molewa, published for public comment draft Notices and Regulations for the expansion and re-zonation of the Betty’s Bay, the Robberg and Goukamma Marine Protected Areas (MPAs). The due date for submission of the comments is 19 September 2017.
